Psalm 44:3 – “...for they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.”

Devotional Thought

The Israelites didn’t conquer their enemies by their strength, but by God’s favor. Favor turns battles in your favor, making victory certain. Where others lose, you win.

Every child of God faces battles—spiritual, financial, relational—but favor ensures that you don’t fight alone. God’s presence and favor tilt the scales toward victory.

Practical Application

Instead of relying solely on your strategies, acknowledge that victory comes from God’s favor. Invite Him into your battles.

God’s favor wins my battles and gives me victory.

O Lord, let Your favor fight for me. Give me victory in every battle I face today.
