Dominion Over the Flesh

Scripture

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16 KJV)

Devotional

The flesh wars against the Spirit, but walking in the Spirit gives you dominion. To walk in the Spirit means to be led by God’s Word and voice, not by human desires. Faith helps you say no to the flesh and yes to God’s will.

Meditation

Walking in the Spirit is my pathway to dominion over the flesh.

Declaration

I am led by the Spirit of God; therefore, I have dominion over the flesh.

Prayer Point

Holy Spirit, empower me to overcome the desires of the flesh and to live holy.

Action Point

Identify one fleshly struggle and commit to fasting and prayer over it this week.
