Scripture: Romans 12:11 "Fervent in spirit, serving the Lord."

Meditation: Spirit-filled service brings life, strength, and lasting impact. God has not called us to serve through human effort alone; He has given us the Holy Spirit to empower, guide, and strengthen us in every act of ministry.

When we depend only on our natural ability, service can become tiring, routine, or frustrating. But when we yield to the Holy Spirit, He renews our passion, gives us wisdom, and helps us serve with love, excellence, and spiritual sensitivity.

Serving in the power of the Spirit means allowing Him to influence our attitudes, guide our decisions, and work through our gifts and abilities. It is not simply about being busy in God's work; it is about being led by God as we do His work.

Passion keeps you engaged, but dependence on the Holy Spirit keeps your service spiritually fruitful. Do not allow routine, discouragement, or weariness to extinguish your zeal. Spend time in prayer, remain attentive to God's Word, and make room for the Holy Spirit to direct your service.

Today, ask the Holy Spirit to renew your passion and empower you to serve the Lord faithfully. Let your service flow from His strength, so that your work brings glory to God and blessing to others.

Reflection:

• Don’t serve in the flesh; let the Spirit inspire your work.

Are you relying mainly on your own strength and ability, or are you allowing the Holy Spirit to guide and empower your service? What can you do today to become more attentive to His leading?

Confession:

• I serve with passion and power.
• The Holy Spirit works through me.
• I am fervent in spirit and diligent in serving the Lord.
• I do not depend on my strength alone; I rely on the Holy Spirit to guide, empower, and strengthen me.
• My passion is renewed, my gifts are available for God's purpose, and my service is guided by His wisdom.
• Through the power of the Holy Spirit, I serve faithfully, love sincerely, and bring glory to God through all that I do.
