Scripture: 1 Corinthians 8:1 "Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies."

Meditation: Love strengthens relationships, while pride weakens them. Knowledge, abilities, and spiritual gifts are valuable, but without love, they can become tools for self-promotion rather than service. God calls us to serve with humility, putting the needs of others before our desire to be right, recognized, or admired.

When love governs our service, we encourage others, strengthen relationships, and build up the Body of Christ. But when pride, selfish ambition, or strife controls our hearts, we create division and weaken the very people we are called to serve. True service is not about proving ourselves superior; it is about allowing the love of Christ to work through us.

Choose love over ego, humility over pride, and peace over unnecessary conflict. Let your service leave people strengthened, encouraged, and closer to Christ.
