Week 2 - Principles of Biblical Prosperity.
Theme - Building A financial Lifestyle that honors God.
Day 10 - Stewardship and Accountability
Scripture
Luke 16:10–12 (NIV)
"Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?"
Insight
God promotes managers, not just dreamers. If you mismanage $100, you will not steward $100,000 well either. God is watching what you do with what you already have today. Begin intentionally to make account of all you have and what you do with it.
Treat what God has put in your hands with honor—consciously and with care. Do not waste what belongs to God. Wastefulness is dishonorable, even to the wealthiest men on earth.
Budgeting is a spiritual discipline. It shows God that you are ready for increase.
Reflective Questions
-
Am I managing well what God has already entrusted to me?
-
What spending habits need realignment with kingdom values?
-
Have I honored God with my income through tithes and generosity?
Actionable Steps
-
Create or revise your monthly spending plan.
-
Begin tracking your income, tithes, savings, and expenses for the week.
-
Make intentional decisions that reflect faithful stewardship.
Meditation
Visualize yourself standing before God with the resources in your hand—your income, time, talents, and influence. Imagine Him asking how you’ve handled each one. Now see yourself responding confidently because you’ve planned, tracked, and stewarded with honor. You are a trusted manager, not a careless spender. You are preparing for increase by being faithful today.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to be a wise and faithful steward. Help me handle resources in a way that reflects Your wisdom.
In Jesus' name, amen.
