Scripture: Proverbs 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue."

Meditation: Your words are your weapons. What you continually speak can shape your thoughts, attitudes, decisions, and direction. Instead of speaking defeat, fear, and hopelessness, choose words that agree with God's truth and promises.

Your mouth is like a steering wheel; it can help direct the course of your life. Speak with wisdom. Speak faith. Speak life, encouragement, healing, and victory, and let your words reflect God's will.

Reflection:

• Your mouth is a steering wheel; direct it wisely.

What words are you speaking over yourself, your family, your work, and your future? Are they leading you toward faith and God's truth, or toward fear and defeat?

Confession:

• I speak life and victory.
• My words build, heal, and establish God’s will.
• I speak with wisdom and faith.
• My mouth agrees with God's truth.
