Scripture: Luke 10:19 "I give you authority over serpents and scorpions."

Meditation: The devil is not your equal — he’s defeated. Through Christ, you have been given authority over the power of the enemy. You do not have to live in fear of darkness, because the authority of Christ in you is greater.

When you understand the authority God has given you, you can stand boldly, resist fear, and refuse to be intimidated by the enemy. Your authority in Christ establishes your victory.

Reflection:

• Don’t fear darkness; you outshine it.

Where have you been allowing fear or intimidation to make you forget the authority you have in Christ?

Confession:

• I trample over the enemy.
• I am untouchable under divine authority.
