OBEDIENCE OVER EMOTION

Scripture: Philippians 2:8 "He became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross."

Meditation: Spiritual maturity is choosing obedience even when it is uncomfortable. Jesus demonstrated perfect obedience by willingly embracing the cross. In the same way, the Holy Spirit empowers willing hearts to follow God's direction even when emotions, circumstances, or personal desires say otherwise.

Reflection:

• Emotions fade; obedience lasts forever.

Is there an area where God is asking you to obey even though it feels uncomfortable or difficult?

Confession:

• I walk in obedience.
• My emotions follow my faith, not the other way around.
